Bird Basics Christmas Card

Well, I'm procrastinating about getting my math homework done. I know, bad Jill, but I am just NOT into doing math right now. So I decided to get the Mojo Monday sketch completed before the week was up. While I was busy wasting time surfing the net being inspired by other bloggers, I came across Sparkle's Christmas Card Challenge for the week (use a non-Christmas stamp). So, being a good multi-tasker, I combined the two challenges.

Non-standard Christmas colors? Check. Multiple techniques? Check. 3-D Foam Mounting Squares? Check check.
Recipe:
Cardstock: CTMH Black and White Daisy
Patterned Paper: CTMH and Heidi Grace Designs
Ribbon: CTMH (flowered) and miscellaneous (dotted)
Stamps: CTMH Bird Basics and Christmas Scripts
Ink: CTMH Cranberry, Olive, and Black
Dies: Nestabilities Labels One and Petite Scalloped Circles Large
Other: CTMH Bitty Brads, CTMH embossing powder (Clear Detail and Black)
I guess maybe now I should get back to my math. Or, maybe I can go out in the garden and plant the tomatoe and herbs that I bought last weekend...

So pretty. Love the bird and I think it definitely qualifies as a non-Christmas/winter stamp.

I love your card! That birdie is perfect!!! It's amazing how many uses I've discovered (myself, or from creative people like you) for the bird basics. Thanks for the inspiration!
